The McCormick Tribune Ice Rink in Millennium Park, presented by Discover Financial Services®, will be open for ice skating from November 15 through February 2, weather permitting. Admission is free, but reservations are required and can be made up to two weeks before each session. For full details and to reserve your spot, visit Ice Skating at Millennium Park.
The rink also offers free “Learn to Skate” lessons, thanks to the McDonald’s Active Lifestyles Endowment through the Millennium Park Foundation, in partnership with the Chicago Youth Foundation. Lessons are open to all ages and skill levels—beginner, intermediate, and hockey—and take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. between November 16 and February 2, weather permitting. Helmets are strongly recommended for beginners, and skate rentals are free for lesson participants.
