Showcasing Chicago’s deep commitment to public art, ART on THE MART uses advanced video mapping to bring contemporary art to life across the Chicago Riverwalk. Projections span the 2.5-acre façade of THE MART—the largest privately owned commercial building in the U.S., celebrated globally for its cultural, design, and technological influence.
Since its launch in 2018, ART on THE MART has featured innovative moving image works by prominent national and international contemporary artists, alongside creations by Chicago-based artists and community organizations. Through collaborative efforts, ART on THE MART harnesses the power of public art to inspire meaningful community engagement along the riverfront, throughout Chicago, and beyond.
