Paul McCartney Announces 2025 ‘Got Back’ Tour Dates, Closing in Chicago

July 11, 2025

Paul McCartney is bringing his celebrated Got Back tour back to North America for a new leg of performances in fall 2025, with the tour culminating in two back-to-back nights at Chicago’s United Center on November 24 and 25.

The 2025 edition of the tour will span 19 cities across the U.S. and Canada, beginning on September 29 in Palm Desert, California. That show will mark McCartney’s first-ever performance in the Greater Palm Springs area. The run includes stops in major cities like Las Vegas, Denver, Minneapolis, and Nashville, and introduces debut performances in Albuquerque and Palm Desert.

Fans can expect a setlist filled with career-spanning hits from McCartney’s time with The Beatles, Wings, and his solo work. The former Beatle will be joined by his longtime touring band and the Hot City Horns, continuing the format that has made recent legs of the Got Back tour a success.

Presale tickets will be available starting July 15 at 10 a.m. local time through McCartney’s official website and fan club. General ticket sales open July 18 at 10 a.m. local time via major ticketing platforms. The tour is McCartney’s first return to North American arenas since the original Got Back dates in 2022.

In addition to the tour, McCartney will release a 528-page book titled Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run, scheduled to hit shelves on November 4. The book celebrates his post-Beatles years with Wings and adds another milestone to a year packed with performances and projects.

With two Chicago shows wrapping up the tour just before Thanksgiving, fans in the city will have a rare chance to see a music legend close out one of the year’s most anticipated concert series.
