Chicago Hosts NASCAR Street Race and Zac Brown Band Concert in July 2025

CHICAGO, IL — The NASCAR Chicago Street Race is set to return to downtown Chicago on July 5–6, 2025, bringing high-speed racing and live entertainment back to Grant Park.

The two-day event will feature two major races: the Loop 110 (NASCAR Xfinity Series) on Saturday and the Grant Park 165 (NASCAR Cup Series) on Sunday. The street course runs 2.2 miles through the heart of the city with 12 turns showcasing Chicago’s iconic backdrop.

Saturday’s schedule includes practice and qualifying sessions throughout the morning and early afternoon. The Loop 110 race begins at 3:30 p.m., followed by a live concert by the Zac Brown Band in the evening.

On Sunday, gates open at 10:00 a.m., with the Grant Park 165 race scheduled for 1:00 p.m. A victory lane celebration will take place immediately after the event.

Tickets are available now, with Grounds Passes starting at $99. Additional options include reserved seating, premium suites, and VIP concert access. Children 12 and under are eligible for discounted youth pricing.

This year’s ticket prices have been reduced to improve accessibility and expand attendance. Fans are encouraged to buy early due to high demand and limited inventory for premium areas.

NASCAR has also committed to minimizing disruption for Chicago residents and visitors. Key destinations, including the Museum Campus, will remain accessible throughout race weekend.

In a continued show of community investment, NASCAR maintains a full-time local office and supports year-round engagement in the city.

The event includes a Weather Protection Program for most ticket types. If races are postponed due to weather, eligible unused tickets may be exchanged for future NASCAR events. This policy does not apply to tickets bought through third-party sellers.
