"If music is the place, then jazz is the city." Experience it live at the Hyde Park Jazz Festival, where Chicago’s vibrant jazz scene takes center stage during this two-day celebration. The 18th annual festival highlights both Chicago’s acclaimed local artists and internationally recognized talents.
Praised as a “near-perfect marriage of music and setting” by *Chicago Magazine* and “one of the best-programmed events of its kind” by *The Chicago Reader*, this premier festival unfolds across 14 stages in Hyde Park. Over 30 bands will perform in various venues throughout the neighborhood, drawing more than 20,000 jazz fans for 18 hours of nonstop music.
Beyond enjoying world-class jazz, attendees can explore the historic Hyde Park neighborhood. Since its debut in 2007, the festival has aimed to connect new audiences with Hyde Park’s cultural institutions while celebrating jazz’s deep legacy on Chicago’s South Side.

CHICAGO — The wait is over. The official lineup for Lollapalooza 2026 has been released, and this year’s festival is shaping up to be one of the most diverse and high-energy editions yet. Crowd Work Wednesday is an interactive stand-up comedy show happening on March 25 from 7–8:30 PM at The Comedy Bar in River North. Hosted by Pat Bolduc & John Gasper, the show features a rotating lineup of comedians who skip the scripted material and instead riff directly with the audience—making every performance completely unique and unpredictable.
