The 2024 Chicago Thanksgiving Parade is a vibrant annual event held on November 28 from 8 to 11 a.m. along State Street in downtown Chicago. Highlights include oversized helium balloons, cultural performers, equestrian acts, local marching bands, and floats celebrating diverse traditions. 

Emmy-winning actress Lynn Whitfield is the Grand Marshal, and musical guests include Reyna Roberts and Donnie Lee Strickland. The parade is free to attend, offering prime viewing along its route from Ida B. Wells Drive to Randolph Street, and will be streamed live on Pluto TV.
