Ballet Folklórico de Chicago presents Épocas de México on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 7 PM (doors at 6 PM) at the Copernicus Center. The all-ages folkloric dance production brings audiences into the era of the Mexican Revolution (1910–1920) through traditional choreography, regional costumes, and music that tell stories of resilience, cultural pride, and national identity. Performed by Ballet Folklórico de Chicago, the show highlights how folkloric dance preserves Mexican heritage while connecting historical themes to modern Mexican and Mexican-American communities, combining cultural education with an engaging live performance experience.
