The event lights up historic State Street, delighting 50,000 spectators with vibrant floats, stunning puppets, and imaginative performances.
More than a parade, Arts in the Dark is a curated celebration of creativity, featuring artists from every Ward across Chicago and offering a platform for young talent. It reminds us that the creative spirit connects us all, transcending race, ethnicity, class, age, ability, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

CHICAGO — The wait is over. The official lineup for Lollapalooza 2026 has been released, and this year’s festival is shaping up to be one of the most diverse and high-energy editions yet.
