AC/DC Set to Rock Chicago in 2025: Power Up Tour Hits Soldier Field

CHICAGO – AC/DC is hitting the road again with their Power Up Tour, their first U.S. tour in nearly a decade. The legendary rock band will bring their electrifying show to Soldier Field on May 24, 2025.

The tour supports their 2020 album Power Up, which debuted at number one in 21 countries. The album also earned Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance for Shot in the Dark.

Tickets went on sale on December 6, 2024, and quickly sold out. Prices originally started at approximately $136. With Soldier Field’s capacity of around 62,500, demand was extremely high. Fans hoping to attend will need to check resale platforms for available tickets.

The tour lineup features Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Stevie Young, Matt Laug, and Chris Chaney. Fans can expect a high-energy performance with a mix of new material and classic hits.

Concertgoers should be aware of venue policies. Soldier Field enforces a clear bag policy, and parking costs range from $20 to $100.
